Carmen Inniger
Carmen Inniger studied musicology, cultural management and Italian at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar as well as the University of Jena and the University of Pavia. During her studies she worked at various theaters and in the management of various orchestras. In 2008 she received an invitation to the workshop “Music and cultural identity“ at the Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2010, after conducting research in Zurich and successfully completing her final exam, she was hired by the Thuringian Ministry for Education, Science and Culture to organize and execute ca. 50 events concerning that year’s cultural theme „Franz Liszt: A European in Thuringia“. There Carmen attended to such artists as Alfred Brendel, Arcadi Volodos and Valery Afanassiev and she coordinated follow-up events in Lucerne (Lucerne Festival) and Bayreuth. In 2011 she worked as the project coordinator of the newly-founded “Young Philharmonic Orchestra Jerusalem Weimar“, which had already completed its first successful concert tours in Germany and Israel. From 2012-2015 Carmen was manager of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Bern Music Conservatory.

Since July 2012 she is Managing Director of Les Passions de l’Ame. In the last six years she positioned the orchestra on the international market, set up the cooperation with the label Sony Music Switzerland and professionalized the marketing of the orchestra.
