Stéphanie Erös
After a traditional violin education, Stéphanie Erös discovered the baroque violin in 1995. She specialized in baroque violin under the tutelage of Odile Edouard and Florence Malgoire at the Center for Early Music in Geneva, where she also earned a teaching diploma in Early Music. She developed further at the Schola Cantorum in Basel with Chiara Banchini and benefited from the advice of Enrico Gatti and Simon Standage.
Currently Stéphanie dedicates herself to the leadership of her chamber ensemble Quintessence and performs with a variety of ensembles in Switzerland and France: Cantatio (John Duxbury), Vocal and Instrument Ensemble Lausanne (Michel Corboz), Les Passions de l’Ame, A Corte Musical and Les Inventions (Patrick Ayrton). In addition, she participated in festivals in France and Italy and worked in a number of CD productions under the direction of Roberto Gini, Gabriel Garrido, Alan Curtis and Rogério Gonçalves. Since 2008 she teaches at the Conservatoire Populaire in Geneva.
